The Redmi K60 series launch is just a few days away. Xiaomi is all set to take the wraps off the new lineup on December 27th in China. The series is expected to include three models: Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60E. Ahead of the launch event, the brand has started teasing key features, including the display specfications of the Pro model. Morever, a recent teaser revealed the processors that will power the upcoming Redmi phones.
The Redmi K60 Pro will feature a 2K QHD+ display, as per one of the teasers spotted on Weibo. The screen also supports 12-bit colour, 1400 nits peak brightness, P3 colour gamut, and HDR10+, among other things.
Another teaser image revealed the processors that will be powering the Redmi K60 phones. Xiaomi will be using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, 8+ Gen 1, and MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipsets for the upcoming smartphones. It is likely that the Redmi K60 Pro gets the Snapdraon 8 Gen 2, while the vanilla K60 gets the 8+ Gen 1 and the cheaper Redmi K60E packs the Dimensity chip.
