Airtel 5G services available in these cities
To recall, Airtel 5G is already available in Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Siliguri, Nagpur, Varanasi, Panipat, Gurugram, Guwahati, Patna, and Lucknow. Shimla now joins the list. The 5G network will bolster the entire portfolio of services that the telecom network offers.
Airtel already announced that its 5G services will be available in all key metros by the end of the year and all of urban India in 2023. The telecom promises to complete the rollout across the country by March 2024. The current 4G SIM is 5G enabled so users don’t have to change the SIM card to enjoy the latest services.
Airtel 5G Plus network will allow superfast access to High Definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos, and much more. In comparison, Jio promises to finish the rollout across the country by December 2023.
Pushpinder Singh Gujral, the CEO, of Upper North, said, “I am thrilled to announce the launch of Airtel 5G Plus in Shimla. Airtel customers can now experience ultrafast networks and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds. We are in the process of lighting up the entire city which will allow customers to enjoy superfast access to High-definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more.“
