Let’s go over the confirmed specifications first. Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo X90 will offer 120W fast charging and that the phone will come with a USB Type-C charging port. The Vivo X90 series will also be the first in the world to feature Samsung’s most advanced E6 display and BOE’s Q9 display. Certain other confirmed specifications of the lineup had also surfaced on the internet including the Vivo X90 Pro sporting a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, a 2,375mAh dual-cell battery, and that the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset.
Leaked specifications of the Vivo X90 series
As per the new leak, all three phones from the Vivo X90 lineup will sport a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a 300Hz touch sampling rate, and a 2,800×1,260 pixels resolution. The lineup is said to be powered by the Dimensity 9200 chipset along with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS4.0 storage. The series will run on the Android 13-based OriginOS 3.
However, the lineup will differ from each other in terms of dimension and battery. As while the Vivo X90 will pack a 4,810mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, and the Vivo X90 Pro will pack a 4,870 mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging support, what will keep the lights on for Vivo X90 Pro+ is its 4,700mAh battery with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support. Further, the lineup (Vivo X90, X90 Pro, X90 Pro+) will measure and weigh 164×74.4×8.8mm/195 grams, 164×74.5×9.3mm/215 grams, 164.3×75.3×9.7mm/220 grams respectively.
Moving to optics, the Vivo X90 will reportedly feature an IMX866 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.75 aperture, a 12MP portrait sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 2x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor with f/2.0 aperture. A 32MP snapper on the front takes care of the needs of selfie and video-calling lovers.
The Vivo X90 Pro has been tipped to feature a triple camera setup with an IMX866 50MP primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture, a 50MP portrait sensor with f/1.6 aperture and 2x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor with f/2.0 aperture. Here also, a 32MP snapper is expected to feature on the front for selfies and video calls.
Lastly, the Vivo X90 Pro+ will reportedly house a quad camera setup with an IMX989 50MP primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture, an IMX758 50MP portrait sensor with f/1.6 aperture, a 48MP ultrawide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, and an OV64B40 64MP telephoto sensor with an f/3.5 aperture. But what will remain the same is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video calls.
